Having a controller input make another controller input inaccesable

Hi, I'm trying to make a setup where the d-pad down input will turn off the d-pad right input, but I can't figure it out how to get it to work. Is it something that's even possible or am I just missing something. Thanks in advance.

    Are you trying to disable it permanently? Or just make sure that these buttons are not pressed at once?
    I believe exclusive gate should be usefull for this. If you have several exclusive gates with the same name, they will let signal pass only via one of them. And if the signal are same strength (1 from dpad senzor) the first one is first served. So as soon as the signal is going from dpad down, the second signal going via second gate will be blocked till you release the button.
