I'd like an item to emit a sound until it's destroyed

The problem I'm having is I'm unable to have the sound gadget default to on. When I rig a Destroyer to it the sound stops playing. I've attached a picture of my logic.

  Never mind. Nearly forgot about Counters. Here's my set-up for anyone curious.
