Flashlight with right stick

Hi, does anyone know how to control a flashlight on an fps character with the right stick? Ive grouped the flashlight to the puppets right arm, but the flashlight moves with the left stick, help please.

  You could always use keyframes to tilt the light in the direction you want to look. Isolate the axis of the right analog stick using 3 splitters, be sure to use the local analog stick in the controller gadget. This worked decently well when I tried it, though the light will only point in the direction while you are holding the stick. I've not yet tried enabling the permanent output on the keyframes though so you can give that a try.
  
  Alternatively you might get something similar working with a selector as well. I would figure that wouldn't be ideal though as you wouldn't have smooth analog movement and the light would snap to certain directions.

  Hi there. After much trial and error I find this works well:
  
  While holding the light with R2, scope into the character's head so only the head is colored and the rest of the body is greyed out. Hold L1 to surface snap the light to the puppet's head. Release R2 and then L1. It should now be snapped to only the head body part. This allows the player to move the light beam with the lean of the puppet.
