Can’t update objects after editing the source!
I have this character with a weapon, and the weapon has a source which i edit and then update the character project with the new version of the weapon.
It used to work, but now it no longer asks me to update the weapon on the character even though it’s source was modified. Is there a way for me to tell the object again what it’s source is? I really don’t wanna have to redo all my weapon animations again.

Go into modes and there is one called “update mode”. You will have to manually select the remote creation in that screen. There is an icon for updating to latest.
I noticed a bug also seems to stop the auto update working. -
Hey MadPropz101,
So are you saying when in your character element, when you look in the Update Mode your weapon has disappeared from there?
If so that is a bug! And please report that in the Bugs forum.
Also jon-blue-eyes, have you reported the bug you've found in the Bugs forum? :)
Thanks,

Yeah what i mean is i can no longer update my object even though the source was updated, it doesn’t register as the same object. I will report it as a bug.

Having a similar issue in Early Access. I created a character with animations, built a whole scene around them, then realized I should change their animations slightly. I selected the character, chose to "edit source" which brought me into the character's original project file, I edited the animation there, saved it, then went back into my larger scene to find that the new animation didn't update. Further, I can't find a way to manually update that animation. When I select the same character again and try to "edit source" again, it tells me that if I proceed I will be editing an older version of the character.
