How do I reverse an animation?
Hello guys,
I'm stuck with something that looks really simple in my mind but I can't find how to achieve in the game.
Let's say I want an elevator. I want this elevator to go up only while I am inside a trigger. When I go out of the trigger I want the elevator to go back to it's original position (careful I can go out of the trigger DURING the animation so I want it to reverse properly from the current playhead).
I tried everything and I cannot find a simple way to do this. For me the simple way is to create my timeline and choose to reverse it but there is no such option for timelines. I find the "playhead position" that could help me start an other timeline from the good position but there is no input for that in the timeline editor.
I found only one easy way, it's to create a keyframe and increase the "slow power up" and "slow power down", that way it works perfectly BUT i'm restricted to 5 seconds and the animation is not linear and looks weird.
Please tell me there is something to achieve what I want. I spend 4 hours testing multiple stuff and I'm getting crazy !!!

Connect the trigger zone signal to a signal manipulator gadget and add up / down smoothing (how many seconds the signal takes to go from empty to full and vice versa) and the connect that to the timeline’s playhead (you can do this when the timeline is open by using a wire on the circular play button/timeline cursor) then it should be able to scrub back and forth in the tineline based on the signal.
