Pause Menu System Optimization

    All depends on how it's already set up.

    Maybe use a signal manipulator to turn the input into a pulse so it only does 1 state change.

    Tried that already. The same issue occurs. I'll post some pictures later to show how the logic is arranged.

    As you can see from the first picture, the pause menu can be opened by pressing down on the touchpad. Doing so would turn on the microchip containing the logic seen in the second picture. Each of those microchips leads to a sub-menu that can be selected in the main menu, the logic of which can be seen in the third picture.

    Selecting a sub-menu would trigger the corresponding wireless receiver connected to a port on the selector. While in the sub-menu, the player can return to the main menu by pressing the circle button.

    Like I mentioned before, the problem I've been having is that returning to the main menu causes the entire pause menu to close. Is there a way to prevent this issue without relying on timers?
