    Yes.

    Wire the L stick into a splitter and wire the X output of the splitter into the X input of a combiner (you'll have to change the combiner type to "sticks").

    Then wire the output of the combiner into whatever you're controlling.

    So effectively you're cutting out the Y altogether.

    There is another thing I can't solve. I try to controll the character with the D-pad buttons left and right as an alternative controller. I wire D-pad "Right" into a splitter and from plus output into the x input of a combiner, then into Puppet Interface. It works to the right, but I can't make it to walk left. How can I do that?

    I got it to work. I wired Right button into x input of a combiner and Left button into operand 1 of a calculator and divide it with minus 1, to get a negative value, since left is negative and right is positive.
    Then I wire the calculator into another combiner. ?
