Move shortcut for grid size?

I swear I did this by accident once using the move controllers. I do it all the time with the dualshock (shift + dpad up and down, I believe). I don't know why these shortcuts don't show up in the UI somewhere. How can I adjust grid size + & - without going into the menu while using move controllers?

  There may not be one.
  
  Something that may help (and may be the thing you did accidentally before) is that if you're using the moves, there is an extra option for the grid. If you turn on the "Scale with Zoom" switch, then when you change the imp reach or zoom in (which changes position and imp reach at the same time) the grid size will change also.
