how do remove paint from an object when using spray paint?
when in sculpt mode and you use spray paint i only can add paint and if i wanted to remove paint i have to press the rewind button, why isnt there a way to subtract paint from the object or to delete the paint without destroying the whole thing?

Spray is a colouring tool, and like most of the tools triangle inverts the tool. If you're having trouble with noticing if its doing anything the imp sound is informative :)

I suggest doing the tutorials, they are super useful with control information.
^ ,^ -
but when spraying paint on the object triangle does not subtract the paint in that mode subtract for spray painting doesn't even light up as if its not an option.

by the way im talking about sculpt mode not coat mode.
in coat mode you changing the color of the object and that can be subtracted but in sculpt mode you can't subtract paint -
There is no "erase," because they would only guess as to what colour is meant to be default. You need to just use the colour you want it to be, and spraypaint where you want that colour to be.

ok but i don't understand why there is no erase tool for spray paint, to have a tool that only erase paint added by spraying and leaving it with the default haven't be painted color, MM can actually make that as a tool, i mean we can delete shapes then deleting paint is do able.

Being that negative and positive shapes can be selected and moved/deleted in Sculpt Mode, it would be nice to have that option for Spraypainted gestures. It doesn’t seems to be part of the setup though.

Since you can't remove spraypaint, and spraypaint adds to the thermo (with each multiple layer), it's possible to permanently mess up a sculpture by increasing its thermo use with no way to bring it back by removing paint. This really needs a fix.

There needs be a way to erase spray paint, I was painting a lot of details on a complex sculpture, then the "Sculpt Shapes Thermometer" (I play in spanish, so I don't know the proper name for it, but in spanish is "Formas de la escultura", is not the "Graphics" one) showed up and it was 77%, I painted just a bit more, saved and left. Then, I came back and the thermometer was at 100%.
If I only could just delete spray paint I could be able to reduce it, but is not possible. There is no way to reduce it, as it is mainly composed of Spraypaint.
Now I have to re-sculpt the entire shape again and paint the minimum. :(
