How do you make an object controllable?

The easiest way to do this would be to attach a microchip to your block. On the microchip, add a controller sensor, two splitters, and two advanced movers.

Connect the left stick (or relevant control) output to the input of one of the splitters, connect the top output (named left/right) of that splitter to the input of the second splitter, and then finally connect the two outputs of the second splitter (one positive and one negative) each to a single advanced mover.

Now all you have to do is tweak your block to make sure that "moveable" is turned on in the physics tab, and then tweak each advanced mover to move along the x axis (or y, I that's what you want). When you go into the tweak menu, you'll notice that the axis you connected the wire to will show as zero unless you hover over it, this is showing that it is 0 m/s with no input and up to X m/s (whatever you set it as) when it gets input. Finally, make sure the Y and Z Speeds are 0, and you should be good to go.

Try playing your creation, and you should be able to possess and then move your block back and forth along a single axis.

Thank you so much for your help! I can only seem to move in one direction for some reason. I'm going along the X-Axis, so from the second splitter, the positive output is plugged into the X input of one AM, and the negative is plugged into the X input of the other AM, is that right?

Ooh I figured it out! I had both speeds set to positive numbers, whereas obviously the negative input needed a negative speed. Thanks again!
