John! How did you switch quickly between DS4 and Moves in the livestream?

  • DummyFairy

Not 100% sure if this will help but I think you need to make sure the camera can’t see the moves, to temporarily disable them.

Yea you just move them out of the camera view and bring the DS4 back into frame.. you can do this as many times as you want seamlessly without turning off the controllers. I do it all the time.. 3 controllers on my lap at a time...first world problems

Pokerjoker and DummyFairy that seems so obvious! I'll give it a go, have to find a way to hide the Moves from the all seeing camera. Thanks!

    Hi,

It's super simple, you just have to make sure the controllers you don't want to use are completely still, and no buttons are being pressed (placing down moves or DS4 can sometimes press the trigger on a bit) and after a second or two they will go to sleep :)

Well this doesn't work for me. I've hidden the move controllers from the camera and made sure there are no buttons being pressed. It never times out and so the DS4 doesn't take over priority. I've checked the device settings in the PS menu but can't see an option there. Not sure why hiding the moves doesn't work. These are the mini-USB connection type moves (not the newer micro-USB type) purchased about three months ago.

hmm i have the same problem, i have tried everything. is there a solution to this?

  • NORMCHACHO

I haven't been able to get this to work. As long as the moves are on the DS4 won't work. I moved them out of view, I've made sure they're not pressing any buttons, I've even taken them out of the room.

If the moves are on, I can't use the DS4 and it makes creating way slower.

Has anyone come up with a fix for this? I am having the same problem. Moves work fine. DS4 works in menus - but not in game when I put moves down.
