How can I get an object to change colour?
I want something (a wall) to pulse or jump in different colours, but I'm not sure how to do it! So for example I want it to be red for say 5 seconds, then jump to blue for another 5 and so on.. any tips?
It might seem obvious but I'm really struggling to learn even the basics of this game, despite playing the in-depth tutorial. It's disheartening seeing people create such amazing and elaborate things, and I just struggled to create a wall!

To get an onject to change colors, all you have to do is add a keyframe into the scene and record your changes. If you place a microchip on what you want to change colors, then go into the animation section of the build menu and select the keyframe option. Stamp the keyframe into your microchip and it will automatically start "recording". Now tweak your object and change the color to something else, and when you're done just hit the button on the right or press L1+Circle.
Now you just need a way to activate that keyframe. For the timed changes, the easiest way would be to add a timeline, so stamp a timeline into your microchip and place the keyframe from before onto the first moment of the timeline. Now make more keyframes the same way as before, changing the color each time and placing them at different points on the timeline whenever you want a color change, being sure to stop recording after you change colors before you do anything else.
If you want the object to stay that same, solid color for however long, then be sure to tweak that keyframe and turn on "keep changes," or if you want it to smoothly transition between colors then hover over the space between two keyframes on the timeline and press L1+X to add a smooth transition.
