Music effects, risers?

Happy holidays, anyone know if there is a way to simulate risers in music or is the way I've been doing it about right with manually adjusting the volume of each note? Thanks!

  There are a few instruments, especially in the Sampled Phrases and Effects collection within the Instruments collection that have effect fields designed for risers. Just record notes moving in/out of the effects. Once you've recorded notes in Freeform View you can do anything with them in the piano roll, and they will keep their shape/position. That's one easy way, but there are a lot of other ways by animating audio parameters with action recorders or keyframes, putting effect fields on a timeline and giving them a fade, etc.
