Test Mode "Focus Mode": highlight all affected gadgets with a "guiding trace" between microchips

The solution could be a sort of "focus mode": in Test Mode, you choose which gadget you want to analyze. After testing it, you would see a "trace" starting from the gadget, and going backwards between all affected gadgets, ports and microchips that contributed at the gadget activation. This would make it easier to understand who affects who, especially with many interconnected microchips. What do you people think?

  I've realized only now that only half of my post have been posted :/

  The idea is to have an immediate view of all logic affecting a specific gadget between ALL the various microchips, including the ones affected by wireless and keyframes.

  If your logic sprawls between different chips it can become difficult to keep track of it, using wireless makes it difficult to do it, and if you use keyframes (and you forget to name them) you're pretty much screwed.

  A bit like when debugging JavaScript event logic on the DOM. You can select an element on a webpage and then see what event handlers have been attached to it. So for example you can see what “click” events are attached to a button.

  I think this would be a really good idea for Dreams. At the minute you kind of have to do it by hand with text displays and other weird stuff!
