Tool for creating an interface

  • JackyPrower

I think Dreams needs an HUD Mode, together with its Sculpt Mode, Music Mode, Paint Mode etc.

WIth an entirely different mode you would be able to have all HUD elements in a "separate plane of existence" compared to the rest of the world, so each element in it, both 2D or 3D, won't be affected by lighting, post processing and so on. It would also make it easier to create animated/scrolling HUDs.

So yes, i think an HUD-specific tool/mode is needed.

    Great answers

I'm finding it difficult to guess what tools from the image alone. Could you just describe the tools?

I think the people who made dreams, and its tools for creating, I think they will have no problems imagining what these tools should be.

But so be it, I will help you if you can't imagine.

A person, just like in the sculpture mode, could choose the interface window and its shape. Enable or disable mirror and kaleidoscope mode.

If this is a square window, then a person could change different parameters of this window, adjust each corner of it, and so on. Select the thickness of the lines. Then each window could be positioned on the screen by selecting each size relative to the other windows...

( It's hard for me to try to describe everything as it should be, because I have health problems, I can not mentally strain myself as I become VERY ILL. )

But Take a look at these pictures again and now try to imagine again what this tool should be.
