How can I connect a second player?

The game says I need to be online as soon as I connect a second controller, so how do I do that?

I see nobody asking this or having these issues on the forum.
Neither in the comments of hammer time.

Please help.

    Online multiplayer isn’t in the Beta but local multiplayer should work fine. If you have two DS4 controllers connected you should see two imps when you start playing a game.

    No it doen't.

    EVERY TIME I connect a second controller it sais I need to be online.

    The message goes away when I log that controller out.

    Some sort of privs issue? Signing in to ps4 once Dreams is booted but with a non-beta user as player 2 or possibly an account based in another region? Maybe make sure the pad is connected before you launch Dreams Beta and try using different profiles?

    I solved it.

    Apparently you need a extra psn account to use a extra controller in the beta.
    Luckily a friend of mine let me borrow their account temporarily.

    I wish I only needed one psn account for playing together locally.

    Oh well.
    It's still the beta. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Create a new user and PSN account on your PS4. Use a different email address than your primary PSN account. A guest user, or one that isn't linked to a PSN account won't work.
