How to animated a puppet to move from point a to b

I'm trying to move the puppet from a variable point A to a static point B.

I creating a sort of run-jump platform mini-game and I can't figure out how to make my puppet automatically move when it arrives at the goal.

  Add a tag where you want the puppet to go to and name it.
  
  Then set that name of the "follow" setting of the puppet. Leave the switch next to that off.
  
  Then when you want the puppet to go to that tag, turn on that "follow" switch.
