Custom Shape to brush settings

Is it possible to retrieve brush setting from a stamped sculpt shape ? Basically I stamp down a certain sculpt with certain settings . Then I modify it after using things like the stretch tool.

I want to be able to copy that now modified sculpt shape but keep it within the same sculpt group. So I need it to remain as one sculpt.

Is it possible to take an already stamped and modified shape and turn it in to a custom brush?

  No, you can't copy the settings of a shape. But you can clone the shape itself.
