Changing a basic puppet's run animation?

Hi, I want to make a custom run animation for my puppet when it moves. I looked at other puppets' run animation and was wondering how they do it. I tried changing it but it come up weird. PS. I deleted the old run animation on the basic puppet in hoping to start a new one.

  Do you mean changing the procedural animation, or creating a non-procedural animation cycle yourself? If you want to use the procedural stuff, just tweak the puppet, click on "run" at the very bottom and record the pose you want (make it the same on both sides, I believe).
