Why is my dream full when there are just a few sculpts in it?

As tou can see in the Dreamsurfing, there are some complex scenes already. It's all about resource management.

If you are creating an object that will be repeated dozens of times in your level, you should not make it very demanding. You can increase or decrease the quality of each solid. If your level has objects that will only be seen at a distance, you may want to low its quality. Vice versa for up close stuff. You should also use 'tricks', like making indoors and outdoors in different scenes.

    Thanks for your reply :)

By decreasing the quality you mean to make the items less detailed? Or is there an option for decreasing the quality of an object? :)

    No problem :)

You can increase or decrease the detail of any object in the tool bar: tools > sculpture detail

  • Supposer

To be super clear... cloning a sculpt costs very *very* little in gameplay thermo. Each *unique* sculpt costs in graphics thermo.

This means you can clone that 17%-worth of sculpts a hundred times without a problem. But if you change something in the sculpt itself, it will become a unique sculpt and add to the thermo.

You can use live cloning (use the 2-sheep clone tool and turn on live clone) to make sure you don't accidentally add to the thermo by making a change. Here, *all* live clones of the same object will always look the same. So if you edit one of those sculpts, all others will update. This avoids making the edited sculpt unique, and so does not add much to the graphics thermo (depending on what you add, obviously).
