Instantly disable text display.

I wired controller buttons to a signal manipulator that toggles when the button is pressed. That output is then wired to either the opacity or visibility input of a text display.

In edit mode pressing that button instantly disables the display. In play mode it slowly fades out and in.

In the signal manipulator I can see that the output switches on and off instantly. But the wire that leave the gadget slowly turn off.

Is this a bug or a setting? The same happens when I wire the controller directly to the gadget, i.e. the signal manipulator is not the reason.

    When in edit mode, directly turning things on and off with your imp seems to ignore ramping in and out. Whereas turning things on and off using a wire keeps the ramping.

    If you want it to be instance, make sure the ramping sliders are set to 0. (Can't remember their actual names.)
