How do I make a perfect ball that rolls properly?

I want to make a perfect ball that rolls properly, I'm using the sphere with the stamp tool not the smear and when I make it roll on a plane surface it rolls almost like an egg. Any help please?

  What do you need the ball for? Depending on the use case, it can be faked.

  It's all about scale. The size of the default sphere shows an imperfect ball, as you can see join lines slightly off centre, and that's why it does not roll correctly. Make the scale bigger, so you can make the ball bigger, which removes the imperfections. Hope this helps.

  If I were you, I would create invisible cylinders with spheres on the inside. Make the friction very low. Then put. Gyro on it. Not sure if itll work but it's what I would try.

  Also, I think the physics system works in the basis of using spheres, so low quality settings may be better for a single ball.
