How do I make a controller input toggle?

I've tried wiring the controller input into a switch, but they only remain powered on so long as the button is held down.

Is there a simple toggle thing that I'm just missing?

    Hey, so there's a few ways of doing this, but one way I like is with a signal manipulator gadget found in logic&processing.

    - Wire your button (say X) into the Signal input port (left) of the manipulator.
    - Wire the Signal Output port (right) to your switch
    - Tweak the manipulator (L1+square)
    - Set remapper mode to Custom
    - At the bottom set Edge mode to Toggle Output at ON
    - Profit
