Accessibility: Toggles Instead of Holds
I see there is a setting that says:
Toggles Instead of Holds
If you find it tricky to hold a button you may find this useful. Holds will become toggles instead, meaning you press the button to activate the hold functionality and press it again to turn it off.
I have tried it with several games, and although it puts up a display which is not normally there indicating a button, I cannot seem to get it to actually toggle any hold functionality within the games. Does this work? And if so, how and where? Is it just for Dreams made by Media Molecule or only Create mode?
I am writing about accessibility in Dreams games, and if this worked it would be a great feature for some players - but, so far I have tried it with Draw, Splattys Adventure, Cubric, all of which require you to hold a button, and the toggle option does not work on any of them as far as I can tell.

It would be nice if one of the gadgets had outputs that allowed creators to detect whether a player has turned on any accessibility settings - perhaps an accessibility tab in the Controller Sensor's tweak menu - but how those settings should affect handling of control input in a game will always be something that the creator has to design themselves. Making accessibility settings work automatically for all games would require Dreams to work out the intent of any logic that the creator has wired to the Controller Sensor - an AI-complete problem that not even Media Molecule could solve.

@TheBeardyMan That is exactly what I thought. My boss seems to think this is an accessibility feature that is for all games in Dreams and when I expressed surprise that it could even work he was very confused. At this point in time I cannot see how it could possibly work or what it is for. So it would be nice to know what the intention for this accessibility setting is and how developers can use it.

Pretty sure it's referring to edit mode only. And potentially imp grab in play mode... stuff Mm have control over.
Mm could let us in on that setting through the global settings gadget maybe so the creator could support it if suitable, and how they wish.
