Linking Object Improvment

 Idea to improve Dreams creators ability to link objects together. When a creator is using the method of holding 1 object and then hovering it over another object & then hitting the L1 + X method of combining objects so the object won't fall down to ground in play mode needs an improvement & I will explain. You see time and time again while creating I find myself in this situation & the problem is I have already lined up my sculpts the way I want so having to grab onto the sculpt and then L1 + X attaching it to something makes it so I have to re align the objects after. This is inconvenient & I believe there is a simple solution. Allow player a new option where they can start by clicking on the 2 or more sculpts they want to combine in the L1 + X method then on the right of screen there can be a visible option to click on titled Activate L1 + X functions by clicking here. This way the objects will be combined in the same way, as if the player L1 + X combined them but without the player having to grab & drag the sculpt around effectively leaving them with the inconvenience of having to re align them.  P.S I LOVE DREAMS :)

    Great answers

    You can select the items and click "group." That will group them up. You may need to make the outer group movable and the original inner object non-movable, depending on what you're doing.

    I tend to turn on the grid though, with a large size (big gaps between dots). Then scope in the object, and it won't move from its original spot. Turn off the grid, and job done.
