Saving Limits Post-Server Migration

  • VectorSlinger

It's not best-practice, but one way to help deal with the limitation would be to build assets directly into a scene, rather than having them be separate elements that you then import. You could then get those elements into a new Scene by remixing, or by exporting them from their original Scene as a new Element.

Depending how the new deletion ability works, it might be possible to export an Element online, import it into a new Scene, then delete the separate Element instance. But we'll have to wait and see for that.

In any case, I get the feeling that "library Elements" and "template Scenes" are going to become the norm. More bang for your buck, even if it doesn't help with the file size limitations.

If that won't be possible, nobody will ever publish an element again. Because if Alice publishes an element and Bob publishes a scene that uses that element, then Bob has permanently burned one of Alice's publication slots.

Yah, I have been thinking about that also. Even with that though, I will have to scale down some of my projects. Although, I'm trying to create a lot of WIP prior to the migration so I can continue working on those too. Try to leave myself lots of space to grow.
