Is there a way to consolidate a shape?

No, but you can move a shape aside and then move it back again. Or try scoping out and make the Sculpt really big, then scope back in to edit - I find this can help if you’re trying to grab very small shapes :)

There's a freeze tool (or maybe it's in the options?), that locks things from bring able to be accidentally grabbed or interacted with. You can also freeze everything but one object if you want to do that. When you're scoped in on something you can also toggle an exclusive mode that hides everything but the thing you're scoped in to, to make it easier to work on something in the middle of a lot of stuff.

Thanks but what I meant was that when I'm scoped in and have lots of edits near each other I struggle to edit the one I really want or if for example I have shape flattening a part of another and then I use one morer to cut or add to that flattened part it gets complicated. Maybe it's me and I need more practice since many are creating amazing stuff but I wanted to know if the was an option to have a certain number of edits to interact and keep the rest permanent but It seems there's not such option. Thanks again.
