why did MM make uploading a level is like signing a deal with the devil?

after you upload you cant change if its remix or not
after spending a lot of time on 1 level then uploaded it oops forgot to turn remix off CANT DELETE that level you uploaded gotta make it private and let it waste space on the server.
it was perfect on little big planet 2 why did MM gotta screw this up it's not hard to get it right.

Imagine you make a level/asset and then someone remixes it or adds it to their creation. Then you go and delete it or hide it. What would happen to the other person's creation that has dependency on the deleted creation. Does it get deleted from from their creation, potentially leaving it unplayable? Would it stay in creations it's been used in? In which case you didn't really delete it did you.
Just something to think about. This is a game about sharing and collaborating after all.

if i upload and someone remix my level then i delete my level people can still have their remix because the remix is a stand alone copy of my level, just because i deleted the real version doesnt mean no one can keep there remix.
the point was tho to delete unwanted levels that would be taking space if i hide or private my level its still online doing nothing so why should it be there? i dont wanna have 2 copies of a level just because the first one had remix when i didnt want it to.
maybe we just need the ability to just change a levels remix/hidden/private to a uploaded level anytime we want since we cant delete the levels.

I find this really annoying as well to not be able to tidy up is very frustrating. Even if u are not sharing it u still can’t delete it...
