How do I increase the range between 2 controlled players
I want to control 2 players with 1 controller, but one controlled by the left stick while 1 is on the right stick. This is easy enough by plugging the right stick of one into the other puppet however the range the 2 can be apart is small. With the other one freaking out once it hits this range to the point where one will shoot straight up in the air. This could be a bug (posted there too), but if this cant be increased even if both are on camera the whole time it makes a sports game I’m trying to make impossible

Hi Tbone3441, that sounds really strange. I have no idea why moving two characters apart would make them fly in the air. What is the dream name? I’ll take a quick look.
It could be because you are using the same controlinator for both puppets. If you use two separate controlinators set to remote control you could control both at once with one controller. It’s still a bug we need to fix but this might unblock you. It might be something else though. We will know more when we can check out the scene :)
Hope this is helpful :) Peter -
Hey Peter,
It is called duality, I made it public and remixable. Basically if you possess the right player the player moved with the left stick will fly off and vise versa the other way around. Also if you possess the right player and move with him there is an undefined range in which the left player will follow beyond your control (the same range in which that player will skyrocket if moving with the left person) -
I’m also still new to the game, how do you set something to remote control?

Remote control is one of the possession types. I think it’s on the second to last page of a controller sensor. It allows the controller sensor to work even when it’s not possessed :)
Hope this helps :) Peter -
Also maybe this will help why the remote control thing might not work. Essentially I’m trying to build a 3 person sports game each controlling 2 people (6 characters moving). This by creating a game that depending on who has the ball creates a 4 on 2 type game. If you need to use 2 controllers (if I’m understanding you correctly) then I would need 6 controllers for it to work which obviously I can’t do.

That worked thank you!

Yay! Sounds like a cool game idea :)

I guess while I got you I have another question. For some reason every time my players get towards the ball or the edges they again tend to shoot straight up (usually throwing themselves out of bounds). 1) how do I control them from not interacting with the z Axis? I am pretty sure from streams that it has to do with a follower but for the life of me I can’t figure it out. And 2) will this allow me to actually push the ball because as I said every time I get close to actually pushing it my player won’t touch it and instead shoots straight up. Thanks for all your help!
