Find lost objects in a level?

I was trying to stamp something into my scene, but I couldn’t see it. Usually it means that the object I’m stamping is too far away. I stamped it a couple times anyway and afterwards looked for it but couldn’t find it. So I decided to undo stamp to delete it, but I get an error saying it’s too big to undo. So now I have a resource hogging stamped object making random sounds in my level and no way to find or remove it.

Since I can’t just exit without saving because I’ve made other changes as well, what’s my best course of action here?

Are you able to go into the scenes geneology and revert back to a version before you stamped the object?

Try going into play mode and returning into create. That worked when one of my stamps was essentially invisible.
