How do I make an npc respond to the dialogue chosen by the player ?

    The button prompt is a single frame pulse not a continuous signal. Try adding a counter from the button press and then to the dialogue box.

    This was confusing for me too, cuz it's not entirely obvious.

    The little button prompt icons of X O square etc are actually buttons themselves. Toggle them on and off by clicking on them with your imp. If it is toggled on you will have an option appear for the player in a text box.
