How do I keep paint strokes from going through sculptures?

For example, I've added floppy hair to my character, and when the character moves around, the hair flops around not just on the puppet's head but flopping into the puppet's head as well. How do I keep the hair from flopping into the head?

Hi,

Unfortunately paint strokes don't have collision so you'll need to get creative to try and fix this.
You could use a force applied +set to affect only paint) and have that inside the head,/body pushing out, but make the zone the same size as the head.

Or use the "attached at both ends" tweak on the paint, then attach the end of the hair to a collidable object joined to the head with joints donut moves around nicely
