How does scale work?

  • Hamrub

That should say “x, y and z components”. Oops.

    Hi,

With X,y,z coordinates they can be both positive and negative, up positive, down negative, so any signal can be split into positive and minus.
That means if the signal going into the splitter is say -2.3 the negative output will be outputting +2.3 and the positive oytput will be zero. And visa versa if you put in a positive signal.

    Hope that helps

    John

So there’s only a single scale value per object? You can’t scale independently in x, y and z?

That would make sense since it isn't a non-uniform scale for sculpt is there?

  • Hamrub

I have to confess I have yet to really look at sculpting, but if that’s the case it would make sense. Thanks all :)
