I don't fully understand Linking Dreams
So my current project (PlayStation Home) has a lot of scenes that I'll need to create. So recently, I've uploaded Central Plaza and Harbor Studio.
I wanted to make Harbor studio's door exit to Central Plaza, and I got it to work using a door way.
One big issue-
I don't understand, am I and my players required to use that "Map" version of my game for the Link(doorway) to work? So far if I play the original upload of my Studio, and use the door link, all it does is exit the level, and doesn't reference the map.
BUT
If I use the Map's version, the link suddenly works which is fine, BUT how do I basically get rid of the original upload without deleting all it's progress? (plays likes etc)
I don't understand..
I hope this made sense.
Thank you!

You can’t get rid of the original upload as far as I’m aware, but yes, if you want people to go back and forth between doorways it has to be in the linked map

Hi there!
We're totally loving your recreation of PlayStation Home! Brings back memories :D
In answer to your question, yes if you want it to link between your scenes. People will need to play the Dream version (what you're referring to as a map)
Just because on its own the scene doesn't know where to go to, just to exit.
What you can do though is hide the scenes from search, go to their cover page, hit creation settings in the top right corner and select to hide it.
This means if a user looks for your game they won't find the scenes anymore and will have to play it via the Dream as it'd be the only thing appearing in search.
It will also force any likes or comments to be made on the dream from then on as that will be what users see. But unfortunately you can't transfer your likes across or make them visible somehow as they're on the scenes.
Also just as a disclaimer in your Harbour and Plaza in the dream (map) are just references of those scenes, so those scenes will always need to exist if that makes sense?
Have a lovely Christmas and let me know if anything doesn't make sense!
Thanks,
