Use the move controllers?
I cant for the life of me figure out how to stop usint the duel shock controller and switch to the moves, please help!

Did you try turning off the dual shock first? But usually having the move controllers turned on and in front of the camera should be enough to pick them up even if the dual shock is still turned on.

Yes, i reset the game loading it up with the moves only, tried again with the dual shock, then switching on the moves, nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Very frystrating.

Heya,
Have you made sure that your ps camera is connected ok?
- Alex -
Things to check
- PS camera is plugged in and facing you
- Both move controllers are charged and turned on and have been paired with the ps4 (holding down the PS button on the move controller should open the quick menu and display the move icon at the bottom)
- Maybe the imps are off screen? Position yourself in front of the camera and re-calibrate by holding down Start on either move controller.
- Complete the first tutorial with DS4 only (move tutorials are available after completion) -
I have done all of this, and i have been trying for hours. I done trying for now. Bummer

I just had this bug too. The red lights on the Moves turned on, but not the spheres, and the PS4 didn't even show them as connected. After restarting the console, everything worked fine again like before.
-
I uninstalled, reinstalled, and now it seems to be working. Thanks for the assistance! Im having a blast
-
Happened to me as well, you need to hold the options button on one of them until they show up.
-
I am also having this bug. Can't see the imps. The Move controllers are synced, the orbs are on. Camera is fine. Turning the dualshock on makes the imp appear. Turn dual shock off again, and i get no imps. I've reset the console, reset the game. Holding options doesnt work.
-
Update.... I turned my console OFF. All the way off. Then rebooted, loaded dreams. Centred the controllers. It worked. There are definitely some circumstances that piss the software off, but this fixed it.

I just faced and put the controller away without turning it off and picked up the moves. I may have a weird problem with the moves where the light don't turn on before I reset one or both of them while connected. But that has happened before not related to the game. I think that may be because they're old.
-
I recentered the Moves using OPTIONS (or Start). The Imp recognized the input was different and jumped.
When I picked up the DS4 again, I recentered with Options and the Moves went away.
Hope that helps. -
are you using your old moves or did you buy the "newer" ones that come as twin packs?
what ps4 do you have? og, slim, pro?
(those who have move-controller problems)
i have a pro and use the old moves.
i needed to borrow one move from a friend. now, i just have to use all 3 moves and play a little connect/disconnect game with one of those move controllers until 2 imps show up....
...pressing "options" to center/re-center doesn't work. i didn't delete and reinstall dreams because i was/am afraid of losing my progress...
what happens if you delete dreams and reinstall it? is my "profile" online stored at MM? -
Have you solved this issue? my move controllers wont work, whether the ds4 is on or off, the imps wont do anything. I can hover over things but nothing happens even if I try every button. I cant paint, sculpt, nothing, nothing at all with the moves. And I doubt both of them are damaged. Im using the move controllers from the ps3.
-
I am having the same issue. Using PS3 Move controllers with PS3 move camera. They work in the menu of the ps4 just fine. When I load dreams it says to turn on my ps4 controller. I have a ps4 pro. Would appreciate the help!

So this is messed up.... The 1st gen ps4vr bundles came with move controllers, however, they simply repackaged ps3 move controllers for those bundles.... My son and I purchased gen 1 ps4 vr bundles. Neither of our move controllers work in Dreams. I borrowed my friends newer move controllers, and they worked fine. If you are having this problem, check to see if you have an older set of controllers or new.... The old will have mini usb and the new will have micro usb.
It seems shady of sony... and I am surprised that Dreams has not made patches for this.... apparently it is not the only game to have this issue. I think I read that a couple of the newer move games have the same issue.
Did anyone else have this problem or did this help anyone? -
I have one of each generation of the move controllers. Micro USB Types A&B. The Type A has a bit off trouble at a distance in VR, but didn't know that it was an issue in dreams until I read these post.
