how do i make the background change color faster when using the sky logic?

i have a black background using the sky logic but it always lags behind to do its job how can i make it change to black in 1 second or less rather than it taking 5 seconds to do that? and there is no sky transition time option. im using a big back box for the best results but it messes with the twinkling star effect that is set to around camera.

    I don't know of any way to do this. I'm not sure what the context is in your scene, but you might consider using a wiper to turn the camera black for a few seconds, and then fade back in. That way you can hide the transition.

    that's what i'm doing so ok thanks. MM needs to make the sky transition faster or use a slider to make it happen faster or slower. then it would be easier to make the sky black instantly

    Ive not messed to much with logic but could you not use 2 sun/sky and keyframe the switch between the 2 ie A.has bright sky B.dark sky keyframe switches between A and B
