Trigger zone signal
Help me understand trigger zone’s “Detected” signal. I tried to understand trigger zone’s “Detected” signal by connecting it to a splitter. It gave me 8 types of signals. What are these? They’re labeled something like “positive number” “negative number” “non player” “ player1” “ player2” “ player3” “ player4” “controller’s color”. (I’m translating from Japanese)

The detected output is a "player info" fat wire. You should be able to hover over each value in that splitter and it'll give you an idea of what they mean.
Generally though, you can just use the wire without splitting it. The "default" (non-splitter) value will be a 1 (on) while the targets are detected within the zone, or 0 (off) while the targets are not detected. If you have "falloff" then that value will be closer to 0 while the target is nearer the outside of the falloff area, and closer to 1 while the target is nearer the inside of the falloff area--and then 1 while in the "core" non-falloff part of the zone.
A little tricky to explain, but feel free to ask more questions. -
TAPgiles thank you for your reply. I generally understand non-splitter output. I hovered over each value in a splitter and it gave me “positive number” “negative number” “non player” “ player1” “ player2” “ player3” “ player4” “controller’s color” (I’m using Japanese version of dreams) It would greatly help if you could explain what these values mean.

It sorta depends on which gadget output you use. In this case it probably applies only when using the "possessed controller sensor" mode (this is the default mode). So then if player 2 enters the zone, the "player 2" output will send a signal, for example.
If only player 2 is in the zone, the controller colour will send a "colour" fat wire signal, which you could wire into a sculpt's tint colour for example.
"Non player" would probably light up for all other trigger zone modes, as it's not trying to detect players.
As this wire type is used for other things, the positive and negative number outputs are likely more useful for other gadget outputs. Here, it would likely send a 1 signal from the positive number output while something is detected. -
Tapgiles, I just tested on dreams, and what you said made sense. One more thing I don’t understand about trigger zone is the output below “detected” in the menu, which reads something like “consider player” in Japanese. I hovered over the output but couldn’t understand the explanation. Can you explain that as well?

Ah! I think that switches on the functionality I described where you can get signals from the different player outputs. I'm guessing that doesn't work when this isn't switched on.
