Is there any way to change the bpm of a music timeline?

  • Supposer

Change the playback speed. That's how you do it. /shrug/

What do you mean by the delay going out of time?

  • Ja-mes27

    '@Supposer thanks for the help!

It seems the tempo of the delay stays at 120 bpm, no matter the playback speed

Oh--there's a fix for that, shown by Bogdan in the 12-hour stream. I think you place the reverb gadget that those instruments are using onto the timeline, so it's affected by the tempo. Or something?

The timeline tweak menu is where the playback speed is set.

Delay speed and timing is set in the Chorus and Delay tab of the sounds tweak menu. At the bottom of that tab is a button to "Beat Sync Delay Time".
If you are using a delay stamped on the timeline, the same options can be found on the Delay Properties tab of the stamped delay tweak menu.
    Hope it helps.

Put the delay gadget into the timeline itself and it will automatically pick up its tempo! You can find the delay gadgets in the components menu->sound. There are 4 of them, one for each global delay line.
