How can you make a sculpt really clean

  • TenakaObi

I'm not sure what you mean by clean, but your best bet is to remix one you like and dissect it one step at a time. This really helps.

If you mean blending the parts together then use the soft blender and try and place a small ball of sculpt in the exact same place between the parts. For example and elbow can be made by placing a sculpt ball right between the two arm parts. Be sure to add it on both sculpts. The when you create the arms use the blend tool and it should be a smooth transition from one to the other.

Also, if you can't get the blend right consider hiding it with something. Like in my example you could put elbow pads on.

    Hi,

When sculpting try to use "stamp" instead of "smear" do this by opening the tools menus whilst in sculpt and select stamp.
Now you can only place down one shape at a time, this will help it stay clean.
As the previous poster mentions then use soft blend (l1 + square in sculpt mode to open the menu to add soft blend)

    Good luck

If you use "stamp" mode on your shape (the dual shock shortcut for this is L1 + Triangle) and push L1 + Square to enter shape edit mode look for the looseness setting and turn it all the way down. You might want to use it sparingly because it causes your sculpts to use more thermometer.
