Music tool: ritardando, group loops, cut one loop into sections

Regarding ritardando (or rallentando) I bet you could place a gadget such as a value slider on the timeline wired to timeline playback speed and use the fade in/out handles on that to introduce the effect gradually. Might try this later.

    1) You can do ritardando by just keyframing or wiring or animating the playback speed of clips.

    2) If you put multiple sounds in the same timeline, you can then use effect fields in that timeline to change any parameter you want. You can isolate the tracks you want in subtimelines that way.

    3) Not yet, but you can manually do it by cloning and trimming.

Nesting clips that loop together in subtimelines is good practice as well as then you can just loop the whole timeline and save up on the thermometer for sound gadgets/music notes.

    Thanks for the tips Bogdan!

Somehow I didn't think of animating the playback speed. The ritardando is really easy to do using keyframes: just set up two frames and set the second one to the desired speed, the blending will do the rest.
