How do I apply a seperate sculpt ie face/head or clothes ect. to a puppet??

Can I create a seperate sculpt ie head, clothing, armor ect. of something from a basic shape away from a puppet and apply it to a puppet afterwards?

Ie I wanna create a face or head completely seperate from a puppet that I can work on in detail and then shrink it down and add to the puppet or replace a part of a puppet with that created sculpt.

I really struggle with trying to sculpt on the puppet especially the head it’s self and would rather try doing it seperate and then just add it on afterwards.

You’ll need to grab the sculpt and tunnel in to the puppet while holding the button to move your sculpt.

Ye tried that and it doesn’t work, how is that possible if I’m grabbing the sculpt with the T trigger, I can’t scope in at the same time, it doesn’t register
