How do I make pipes at non-90 degree angles in the grid?
This is my attempt so far. I cut out a 45 degree wedge of a torus and lined it up with a cylinder on the grid. But adding a cylinder to the other end doesn't seem to work on the grid. This attempt has been done by hand.
Is it possible to do this on the grid within a single sculpt? I know doing something similar in lbp sometimes required some interesting shenanigans at times, like connecting the part that wouldn't line up on the grid in both orientations to a part that would line up in both orientations to line it up the first in both orientations. I'm willing to try, but just wondering if there's an easier tool.

Have you tried Triangle2 + Triangle1(L1 + Triangle on DS4) over the area you want to place the cylinder to reset the grid? That's how I would go about it when something is not aligned

I think everything is properly on the grid, just that grids have trouble with lining up two circles at 45 degree angles. I've messed around with it some more, and reducing the grid to 1/8 got it close enough to not be too noticeable, but it still looks a little odd.

Just realized, have you tried enabling surface snap? Believe it's only sculpt mode but could help do what you need

Yup! It does this thing where either it has overhang on one side or overhang on the other. I made the grid smaller and smaller until it looked pretty decent, but I was hoping for something a little snappier if possible.
On another note, I thought I put a picture along with my post. Is it there? I don't see it. -
Yah I couldn't figure it out. I uploaded it on dreams as 135/45 degree pipe. Had to use precise move to get it as close as humanly possible to the center. And no I don't see the picture on the post.

gotcha, thanks anyways!
