How can I link a painting and a sculpture so they move together?

  • Keaton_x

Highlight the cube and the eyes with X then press the + button on the right-hand side of the screen to group the objects together.

I've tried that already, but the eyes still don't move.

If you have successfully grouped the sculpt and the paint but find the sculpt moving away from the paint when time runs. Its likely that the sculpture is set to movable (Sculpt Tweaks > Physics).

Set the sculpture to Not Movable and then set the Group containing the Sculpture and Paint to movable (Group Tweaks > Physics)

The sculpt and paint should move together as children of the group.

    That worked, thanks!

I tried this and can't get it to work - a sculpted sphere with a small painting on one side.

If I start with the sculpt not movable, the painting not movable, then group them, then make the group movable, the sculpt falls under gravity and the paint stays hovering so they separate.

If I start with both the sculpt and paint movable, then group them, the same thing happens.

The paint on its own doesn't move when it's movable and has a gravity value of 100% either, I am really frustrated :(

What do I need to do to make the sculpt and paint stick together when the scene runs?

Having the same problem. Tried the given solution but the paint stays where it is and the sculpt drops under gravity. I’m trying to use it for a rocket thruster.

    Thanks Mm!
