Text Gadget:- Font Identification (Name/Ref)

    Thank you. That’s helpful.

The document posted by QuietlyWrong is great to preview fonts on the go.

HercUk One thing I tend to do is hookup a number displayer to the font property (output) in the inspector, this shows the unique id of that font as you cycle through them with the up and down arrows. Once I find the font(s) I want to use in my creation I'll create some variable nodes and set their values to the font id's. You can give these variables meaningful names such as FontMenu, FontScore, FontDialogue etc... then simply hook those variables into any of your text gadgets font property. It becomes really easy to update all fonts in the creation by just updating those variables without having to hunt down every text gadget.

Even with a tooltip with the number and a font name, it would be hard to find the one you're looking for. Maybe L1+square could open a grid view with sorting/filtering for font styles. If you have text already it could preview that text in the fonts. Kind of similar to how it works for selecting the font of a cover page.
