Make a Microchip affect more than one element
It would be nice to have the ability to make a single microchip affect more than one element.
At the moment, a single chip can be linked to a single element, unlike other gadgets (like movers, rotators etc.) which can be linked to more than one element at the same time.
This feature would allow the creator to manage and make changes to logic from a single unified point, and then "transmit" that chip to many different element at once. It could be useful when you have many similar objects acting the same way, and you don't want to re-calibrate the logic for each single element separately.
This could be already accomplished by stamping many times a separate asset in the scene, the problem is that, even inside a single asset, you might want/need to have the same logic affect different elements, and it can become tedious to edit the chip of every single element separately.
Ultimately it would make prototyping faster and easier by "broadcasting" a single piece of logic to all the different elements you want, and make bulk changes from a single unified point.

Yeah I think it would be consistent to allow this. I can't think off-hand of a case where it would cause a problem.
It's worth noting that we still won't be able to tell a chip to affect an arbitrary object at runtime though; only in edit mode, or emitting a new object.
