Our first Create Mode TLC update has now launched in which we've made new iterations, additions and improvements to various aspects of Dreams’ Create Mode! ⚙️
We have started with a small selection in this first update but we’ve been hard at work on plenty more changes!

- Indreams URL in creation descriptions - You can now link to other creations by putting the indreams.me URL in your creation’s description.
Fantastic. What is the format for adding the URL please? I have tried lots of different methods and have failed to get a link
I tried indreams.me/collections/letters , www.indreams.me/collections/letters , http://www.indreams etc.... /letters , /indreams.me/collections/letters -

- Fixed: Various UI and text overlap visual issues.
The bug where text boxes don't order correctly for rendering is still very much there, unfortunately. You had my hopes up ;P https://youtu.be/Mf1iF1aH7Yg Should I make a regular bug report about the text thing? It's long-standing, but another nudge might help...
I guess I misunderstood what the fix was referring to? What is fixed about the text?

Bug: Font number from 75 onwards is broken. Shows 80 instead of 76, and 76 instead of 80! From 75 ownards the order is 75, 80, 82, 84, 76, 77, 78, 79, 81, 83.

Hey, LadyLexUK 👋 Apologies, to clarify, the "send to" feature on creations now shows you the correct URL to use on other creations' descriptions, although this doesn't link directly to indreams.me itself.

Hi SDorin 👋 - As specified in the update's release notes, you may find that some font numbers are out-of-order or mixed up slightly. The numbers shown represent internal font ID's. Additionally, some fonts differ between languages and regions, meaning not all fonts will appear. Sorry for any confusion!

Hello, TAPgiles! 👋 I can confirm that the UI/Text bugs fixed were within the Dreamiverse menus rather than create mode/DreamShaping. Either way, thank you for sending us that video! Our QA team are raising this issue now as it doesn't look familiar to us.

I still have no clue as to how to add links in the description to other Dreams creations.
Your response just confused me more.
What do I type in the description to get a link? I know about the indreams URL but I do not know the format for putting that in as a link. -
Checking with other Dreamers on Twitter it appears that the ability to add links to other creations does not appear to work. Are you sure it was bundled with 2.32 or was it listed in error?

LadyLexUK The way that you add links to descriptions that players can use in-game was posted on here a few months ago, but to summarize you need to copy and paste the last 12 characters from a creation's URL (including the forward slash). For example, if you wanted to link to Frontier by sanderobros, you would go to the address bar, copy "/miFtkQhfjgc" from the end of the URL and then paste it into your description or bio. Once saved, it should create a link that players can use to visit Frontier on both the game itself and on indreams.me. It's slightly unintuitive, but it works.
This has been a thing on the site for a while but despite what the changelog seems to suggest, trying to input the same string of characters into a description from the game itself doesn't work. You can convert indreams URLs to the format that the game uses by saving a description with that link on the site and then editing it from the game itself though, but since doing it all via indreams.me works just fine (and uses fewer characters anyway) I tend not to bother with that.

Just to add to this for anyone still struggling - because it is confusing - the number/letter code used on indreams that you see as the page URL is NOT the same number/letter code you need to use to link in the game. Every creation has two codes - you need the one generated by Dreams itself. Follow the video above to get the correct number/letter code - you CANNOT get it from indreams.

Oh wow... so they didn't actually change the functionality (this always worked) or make it so you can use the indreams url at all, but that's what they said. A big typo! XD
Only thing they added was that on the send to > "view on indreams" shows you the url with the long id.
I guess we have to write it down and then type it in? My hopes were up for a simple copy-paste finally, but unfortunately not. I'd really like the feature it was "sold as" to become real now XD

They should make it so clicking on the URL copies it to the clipboard.
