Camera blending in timelines
Keyframe blending for cameras.
A system that let us use the same transition curves as regular keyframes (ease in, out, etc.) inside of timelines, but with camera transforms. I feel that this would be an easy feature to add, as they already have blending options that take effect when activated.
Camera controls would be locked when in any form of transition.
Sure, you could attach one camera to a sculpt and move it around with keyframes, but I feel as though this makes more sense and is more readable in terms of logic.

Maybe they could add a "camera dolly" gadget which has more features for camera movement. One of which is being able to keyframe its position in timelines! The other features replacing most of the manual rigs people have set up!

That would be a little easier I suppose.
Have you played with just keyframing a camera gadget? I think it would work the same as how you want it to work.
