Frame by frame blinking

I’m wanting to make a character with blinking eyes in the painting section. I have managed it using 2 frames but I’m wanting it so that the character keeps its eyes open for so many seconds, and then blinks for 1 second. I’ve tried copy and pasting frames but you can only do one stroke at a time. Is there a quicker way?

  You might be better off making separate paintings and animating those with Keyframes on a timeline instead :)
