Move controllers vs Duel shock and smaller tv is better?

For sculpturing, do you find the move controllers much better than the duel shock controller and if using move, does having a smaller TV give you a better experience?

I've got a 55 inch TV, tried using the move controllers and just find it overwhelming trying to move around in the 3d space and it seems very glitchy, but not sure if it's just me.

Does a smaller tv help or would it not make any difference?
