How do I make a puppet walk (not run)?
No matter how I tweak the walk speed, run speed, acceleration, and deceleration sliders, the puppet never moves slower than a fast trot. How can I get it to walk at a leisurely pace? I'm using the basic puppet.

I think the puppet has hard coded walk & run animation cycles, when the signal strength from your left stick goes over a certain threshold the puppet goes from using the walk animation to using the run animation, even if the speed of your puppet is set super low.
Maybe use a signal manipulator to reduce your left stick's signal strength by 50% before going to the puppet, that way when you push your stick all the way the puppet will see only 50% signal strength, so it will still use the walk animation. (I'm assuming the threshold is 50%, you might need to experiment)
You will probably also need to up the puppet's speed to compensate for the lower signal strength. -
Thank you for the tip! It would be nice to be able to separate the walk signal from the run signal, e.g., to use the directional buttons for walking and the L-stick for running. But I don't know how to do that (or even if it's possible).

My Dorothy Gale character walks slowly. Maybe you could look at her settings.

Thanks! Btw, thumbs up on your Dorothy Gale, she looks great, and her little dog, too.
